Natalie Nash Attends the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair
Natalie presented her computer science project "Navigation for the Visually Impaired". There were over 1,500 students competing from 65 countries. Natalie had incredible success; she was one of four students selected to attend WebValley a 3 week summer research program in Trento, Italy! Her studies will include 2D/3D cell environment analysis with Kinect and Android interfaces. She also received two sponsor awards: Ansaldo STS for $2000 and Association for Computing Machinery for $200. In addition, Natalie earned 3rd place in computer science with a $1000 award.
